The ACiQ PTAC Heat Pump Air Conditioners offer optimal comfort in any climate, while also providing cost savings. With high efficiency heat pumps, it can provide heat in most weather conditions and has backup electric resistance heat for colder days. The 12,000 BTUs of heating or cooling make it suitable for spaces up to 550 sq ft. This model requires 208-230V of power at 15.3 amps and a NEMA 6-20R receptacle for both the unit and the included 3.5kw heat strip. Utilizing environmentally friendly R-410a refrigerant, the ACiQ PTAC is an ideal choice for new constructions or replacing existing units. Note that it is not rated for use in California and has a 10.5 EER.
